So perhaps you’re looking to switch it up with a not-so-traditional party to break the manatomy and get some ideas for a unique celebration. Pony & Train Rides at Irvine Regional Park
This beautiful park has tons to do, and is the perfect spot for a birthday party. You can set up your party area at the park and send the kids (plus chaperones of course) over for a train ride around the beautiful pond and scenery. They also have a pony riding are where guests can do quick guided pony rides. Consider starting your party off with a train ride, followed by lunch at the park. And then before cake, guests can take a pony ride. This is sure to be one party to remember!
Ziplining at Skull Canyon
Skull Canyon is one of the few ziplining experiences in Orange County. Located in sunny Corona, this cool outdoor place offers various levels of ziplining. Guests rent helmets and safety equipment, and can go down individually – or they can race their friends! This is the perfect spot for your adventurous big kids!
Water Park Day at Great Wolf Lodge
This is one of the most kid-friendly hotels in all of Orange County, and kids can spend all day here, having the time of their lives! With tons of water slides, pools, and dry-land activities, Great Wolf literally has something for everyone. They have birthday packages that can be tailored to your budget, but it may look something like: Start the day off with a pizza lunch at the Pizza place inside the hotel, followed by 2 hours of water park play. Finish off the afternoon by doing crafts in the main lobby area, followed by cake and ice cream!
